• The best way to raise the most money is to customize your page! You can do this by:

  • Adding pictures ​

  • Discussing your own personal reasons for why you THON 

  • Including personal experiences with THON 

  • Talking about our THON child Noelle and her family​

• Best ways to maximize donordrive fundraising 

  •  ​​​​Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, all social medias!

  • Emailing and sending link to family, friends, and anyone you know

  • Sending link to old teachers 

  • Have your friends and family share your link

Donation Boxes ​​​​​​

• Donation Boxes are boxes placed in businesses that people can put donations of any sort in (mostly change) at different stores

• To request a donation box, click this link HERE!

• All stores, restaurants, or places where donation boxes are have to be outside of centre county

Corporate Donors ​

• Corporate Donors are corporate companies that are willing to donate to THON and credit their donations to Volé​

Canvassing​​

• Canvassing is one of the biggest and fastest way for us to raise a lot of money! ​

• Canvassing is going door to door asking for donations to THON

• Trips will be happening both over Thanksgiving Break and Winter Break 

  • Due to safety reasons, we can no longer canvass when the school semester is in progress ​

Crediting Opportunities​

• Crediting opportunities are THON sponsored or Volé THON events at different restaurants downtown where by purchasing something on a specific crediting day, part of your purchase money goes towards our THON total​

• To credit Volé:

  • At THON sponsored events, make sure to take your receipt to the table and either say you are crediting Volé or organization 126!!!​

  • At Volé THON events, show the flyer created to the cashier or make sure you say that you want it to be credited to Volé or organization 126!!!

THONvelopes

• THONvelopes are a great way to directly contact friends and family and ask them to donate. ​

• THONvelopes can be picked up in the office and sent anytime and can even be sent back here to State College throughout THON weekend to the BJC!

  • Personalize the template and envelope with stickers, pictures and drawings! 

  • Send to your Holiday Card list of friends and family! 

  • Email the template to old teachers and faculty members with information, potentially even adding in your donordrive link!
